More than a plan: judgment, analysis, and real coaching

The real value of working with a coach is not just having a plan, but having your case interpreted properly and your training adjusted based on how you actually respond. Data, sensations, fatigue, goals, and life context all need to be integrated to make better decisions. Here you can learn more about my training philosohpy.

My methodology: analysis and real follow-up

Objective data and subjective feedback are analysed together to understand your case as a whole.

Training load is adjusted dynamically based on your real response, fatigue, and the context of each week.

What a template cannot do

  • It cannot interpret how you are actually responding to training beyond the planned structure.

  • It does not properly account for fatigue, adherence, or the impact of external factors such as work, sleep, and stress.

  • It cannot distinguish with judgment what is signal and what is noise in your data and in your real week.

What AI alone does not replace

  • It can suggest options or detect patterns, but it does not replace the contextual judgment behind a well-made decision.

  • It does not take real responsibility for the case, nor can it interpret everything that does not fit neatly into a metric.

  • It does not replace the follow-up, communication, or fine adjustment that each athlete requires.

Daniel Johnson

Podium at the Tour of St Louis M50

Daniel is a master cyclist from Chicago who competes in the state and national road cycling circuit in the U.S. He has extensive racing experience in disciplines such as road races, criterium, and time trials. Even so, we have managed to improve his race performance, achieving several podiums in his category both in time trials and road races. In this case, we highlight the podium at the Tour of St. Louis, where we managed to maintain strong performance over the three days of the race, securing second place in the general classification.

I provide answers to some of the most frequently asked questions my cyclists have when starting the training plan. If you have any other questions, please get in touch with me.

All the information you need for training every day and competing under optimal conditions. This includes both cycling and gym workouts, nutritional recommendations during training and competitions, supplementation, race strategy, flexibility documents, guidelines for day-to-day training, and more. In short, everything you need for your training.

This will depend on each individual case based on factors such as your availability, training level, genetics, and goals. However, as a minimum, I would aim for training about 5 days a week; with less than this, you won’t achieve optimal results.

It will also depend on each individual case. In the case bad weather conditions, you can adapt the training to the indoor bike. If you can’t train, just write to me, and we’ll find the best way to adapt your training.

The payment is made in advance at the beginning of each month, via PayPal or bank transfer. Once the next month’s training plan is open, it is understood that the cyclist will continue with the training, and the next month will be charged accordingly. In the event of wanting to terminate the coaching service, you must notify the coach before the 20th of the last month of training.
